WELCOME!
We are blessed to come alongside you and your children as they learn to worship and study of God’s word.  Our hope is to provide a secure, healthy and loving environment in which to teach the youngest children the word of God and of God’s love for them.  We want to know your little ones!  Early Childhood classes meet during the 8:30 am, 9:45 am and 11:15 am services – the 9:45 am is the main teaching hour, while the 8:30 am and 11:15 am times offer crafts and activities that support the main teaching each Sunday.

Because of the size of our classrooms, and the number of children we have attending regularly here at Central, we divide the Early Childhood children (age 2 – 5 years old) by birthdates rather than school year.  Kindergarten is the first year that kids are grouped with their entire school year class.  All of our kids hear a story from the Bible, sing songs, create wonderful art and interact with loving, caring teachers in an age-appropriate way; regardless of the classroom they are in.  Our Early Childhood Sunday school classes are located on the south side of the main church building, in the Early Childhood wing.  You can download a registration form here to save time on your first visit!

Birthdates:
8/01/02 – 7/31/03 – Kindergarten; meets in ‘the Ark’ (818 N. Biltmore, right next door to the church)
8/1/03 – 7/31/04 – 4’s and 5’s; Zebra Room (3rd floor)
8/1/04 – 3/31/05 – 3’s and 4’s; Tiger Room (3rd floor)
4/1/05 – 11/31/05 – 2’s and 3’s; Koala Room (2nd floor)
12/1/05 – 6/30/06 – 2 year olds; Elephant Room (2nd floor)

What about on Wednesday nights?
3 and 4 year olds meet in the Elephant Room (2nd floor) from 6:30 – 7:45p and are studying the life of Jesus through the “Walk With Me” curriculum.

5 year olds and Kindergarteners meet in the Koala Room (2nd floor) from 6:30 – 7:30p for Kids’ Quest Catechism Club where they are learning the beginning catechism questions using puppets, games, songs and story.
