An important component of Central’s mission is the making of disciples. To fulfill that mission, Central offers two twelve week discipleship series. Discipleship groups of four to six men or women meet once a week either on Sunday morning, Wednesday evening or another time of the group’s choosing. They explore scripture and discuss key issues of the Christian faith. Each session lasts seventy-five minutes and requires about forty-five minutes of preparation. Each group is led by two trained leaders who will facilitate discussion. The goals of Discipleship by Design include growth in spiritual maturity and the development of close, trusting relationships between group members.

Discipleship One lays a solid foundation on the essential teachings of Christianity including commitment to Christ, assurance of salvation and the disciplines of a growing disciple of Christ. Discipleship Two equips the disciple to live a Christian life with joy and obedience. Topics include integrity, marriage, parenting, work, interacting with culture, finding your place in ministry and building an intentional spiritual growth plan. Discipleship One must be taken before Discipleship Two.
