Sunday School for Adults

We were not created to walk through life alone. These groups are places to connect and belong, to know and be known, to be accepted by the grace of Christ and to be transformed by the power and love of Christ in every aspect of your life. With something available for every member of your family, we hope that you will find your place and your purpose in the family of God at Central.

Adult Sunday School Communities

Young Adults

Mike Farley, Cole Lescher, Carl & Amanda Lothman | 9:00 a.m. (Classroom B)

This community for young adults from college through 20s & 30s is a great place to connect, grow, and learn. Our meetings include time to share life’s joys and struggles and to pray for one another and an interactive teaching that fosters group discussion.  We will begin the winter semester with a study of the book of Jonah, examining the challenges and blessings of following God and his call to share the truth of God compassionately with our neighbors.  Other topics will follow including studies of God’s love, our love for God and neighbor, and knowing and doing justice.

My Sunday Family

Tyler Stephens | 9:00 a.m. (Parlor)

My Sunday Family is a community seeking to connect and support each other to learn how to follow Christ together as the family of God. Our meetings include teaching and small group discussion, as well as time to share life’s joys and struggles and to pray for one another. This winter we will study the book of Daniel. We'll see how God sovereignly guides all of history and leads and empowers his people to be a faithful presence and witnesses of God’s kingdom.

Dave Dunlap and John McGowan | 9:00 a.m. (Gathering Place)

Navigators is a community of mixed ages and stages that seeks to deepen faith and develop relationships. This semester, Dave and John will lead a study exploring what God teaches us in the Bible about love. When asked about the greatest command in God’s law, Jesus replied “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind,” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.”  But what should that love look like in our daily lives?

Neal Nielsen | 10:30 a.m. (Parlor)

Gleaners is a group of men and women of mixed group of ages, marital status, and biblical knowledge who study the Bible to apply it to their lives and seek greater obedience and faithfulness to the glory of God. During the winter semester, we will continue to study the life of Moses in Exodus 3-20 in order to learn how God calls and enables us by his grace and power to be servant-leaders.

Classes last for approximately 1 hour. If you have questions, or would like help finding the right opportunity for you, please contact Pastor Mike Farley.
