What makes for a life worth living? Counselor and Presbyterian pastor Ed Killeen along with counselor Jamie McCall will lead us in talks and discussions that explore three elements of a life worth living: a deep connection, a worthy quest, and an abiding spirit. Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” Join us as we seek together to comprehend and abide in the worthy life Christ has and is giving us.
In addition to Ed’s and Jamie’s teaching, we will enjoy guided small group discussions, singing, and plenty of down time to rest and to get to know other men over a good drink, a good meal, or a hike in the woods. This is a terrific time to gain renewed focus and discover new companions for following the Lord together in the new year.
In addition to meals and snacks on Friday, the registration fee this year also includes a buffet dinner on Friday evening featuring Pere Marquette’s signature fried-chicken!
