About the Event

Family MinistryHigh School

Sunday mornings at Central are a great time for kids and students alike! In all of our programs, we strive to provide a fun, kid-friendly environment where your children feel safe and encouraged as they learn about Jesus. It's a place for them to connect with their peers and feel like they belong, to know and be known, and be accepted by the grace fo Christ.

KidCentral (Ages 8 weeks to 5th grade)

Nursery

The nursery is located in the early childhood wing of the main building, and is available for kids ages 8 weeks to 2 years for families who are either in worship or a Sunday school class, and will be open from 8am until after the second service ends.

Early Childhood

Kids age 3 through 1st grade meet in the early childhood wing of the main building at 10am. Our preschool and elementary classes use The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. The Gospel Project takes kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture. Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation. When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed. It is the gospel, not good behavior, that changes everything. You can see all of The Gospel Project lessons in the KidCentral Parents and Leaders group in MyCentral.

Elementary

Grades 2-5 meet in the Duplex at 10am, and will also be following The Gospel Project for Kids curriculum. With a space dedicated to just these grades, the Duplex is the place to be!

Students

Our junior and senior high school students meet in the student ministry building, and enjoy a blend of large-group worship and small group teaching on Sunday mornings. This year, we are studying HC and Me, published by Faith Alive. HC and Me and me is a two-year exhaustive prebuilt Sunday school curriculum that focuses on the Heidelberg Catechism. By the end of this series, we expect students to not only know who God is, but to also be able to faithfully live the Christian life in very practical ways. This series provides a solid Reformed worldview, as well as giving students a way to practice critical thinking skills. Each lesson is easily teachable and customizable by each small group leader.
