Central Concert Series | Matt Mazzoni

In our everyday world, music and the arts are meaningful because they offer us an echo of transcendence. Central's own music director Matthew Mazzoni presents a concert of works that explore this theme, including Liszt's iconic Piano Sonata. A familiar performer to St. Louis audiences, Matthew appears frequently with his wife Jennifer as the award-winning Mazzoni Duo, and he also performs and produces chamber music concerts as part of St. Louis Cathedral Concerts in addition to his role leading the ministry at Central. This concert is presented as a benefit for Central's Concert Series to lead the way for the vision of music and the arts in the years ahead.
