When we are first learning, the image of God that we bear is like a sketch; somewhat rough and one-dimensional, yet still bearing His image. Then, after time and growth, the image may become more like a photo; more detailed and with a sense of shape. We’ve designed the weekly discussions, community building activities, and connections to the arts so that they may highlight the image-bearing qualities of our elementary students.
2nd & 3rd Grades: Duplex 1st Floor
4th & 5th Grades: Duplex 2nd Floor

"Greenhouse" | Greenhouse comes to Wednesday nights! Enjoy time hanging out with your peers and the Greenhouse leaders while we hear truth from God’s word, connect with one another in small groups, and play games.
What is marriage? And how can Christians learn to experience the goodness and glory of God’s design for marriage? This class will seek to answer these questions in two six-week sessions. In the first six-week session, the class will watch the video series The Meaning of Marriage by Tim and Kathy Keller, which is based on Keller’s book with that title, and Central members Bart and Carol Corley will lead an interactive group discussion based on the video. The second six-week section will be led by Tim Galvin, a licensed marriage and family therapist in St. Louis and an elder at Chesterfield Presbyterian Church. Galvin will lead discussions about how couples “lose each other” and get stuck in conflict and impasse, and how, with God’s grace, they can reorient and “find each other again” to nurture and develop their marriages to enjoy the love and support they need.
Why is Central “Presbyterian”? Where did that come from, and does our tradition really matter for life in the modern world? In this class, we will study the history of the Protestant Reformation in order to learn stories from our church’s family tree and the Reformers’ enduring legacy that roots us firmly in the word and gospel of God in Jesus Christ. To commemorate the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation in 1517, we will study the people and the biblical teachings and practices that renewed the church and continue to profoundly shape the history of the world, including the core identity and mission of our church in our time.
