Christmas Concert 2018

Friday, 12/14/18 at 7:30pm

About the Event

“For unto us a child is born; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace." Over 250 years ago, composer George Frideric Handel wrote and premiered a new and unique sacred work - the oratorio, Messiah. This iconic work, now a mainstay of classical music, will form the heart of Central's annual Christmas Concert. Central's choirs, orchestra, bells, and brass will perform Part I of Handel's masterwork, along with music and carols, to tell the timeless story that gives all of us a renewed perspective on the Christmas Season.

Parking will be available in the Central Christian School garage, on the corner of Hanley and Clayton (the former Schnucks lot) and at 7930 Clayton Road (behind the former Layton's restaurant. Shuttles will run to and from the 7930 parking lot beginning at 6pm and the last shuttle will leave the church at 10:30pm. Click HERE for more information about parking.
