Gleaners

Gleaners is a group of men and women of mixed ages, marital status, and biblical knowledge. Each semester we study a book of the Bible, and we seek to apply it to our lives and seek greater obedience and faithfulness to the glory of God. During the winter/spring semester, we will study the gospel of Matthew. Matthew is an account of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus that places special emphasis on Jesus’ fulfillment of the whole story of God’s work through the people and history of Israel. Matthew shows how Jesus is the promised Messiah-King in the line of David who is also a new Moses establishing a new and eternal covenant relationship between God and his people based on his death and resurrection for us. Matthew also contains some of Jesus’ best loved teaching, including the famous Sermon on the Mount.Join us as Matthew takes us through the life of Jesus and shows us the compelling majesty and power of the Messiah who radically changed his life and called him to proclaim the good news of Jesus to the world.
