Adult Communities

Getting involved in a large church like Central can be daunting. However, finding relationships can be made easier by joining a congregational community. Some of these communities are Sunday School classes. Other people find community in a service team, like the missions team; others sing in the choir and find deep relationships there. Many are a part of small groups, like C-groups which meet on Sunday nights. Below you will find some information about some of these Sunday school communities.

The important thing is to find a place to know others and be known by them. Part of the process of growing as a Christian is to find ways to live together with others God puts in our pathway.

Adult Education Goals and Purpose:

Worship the triune God by embracing gospel, building community, making disciples, and transforming societies.

Spiritual formation is the task of the whole church, both in giving and receiving the above mission statement.  For adult education the particular focus in the application of the mission statement is transforming to serve.  What we mean is that we seek to equip people as ministers, that they would be in ministry to God, ministry to the church, and ministry to the world, or to equip people to serve God, the church, and the world.  We seek to do this through education and discipleship, continually forming and shaping people to love God and one another.  We hope to accomplish this transforming to serve through a variety of vehicles, including Sunday school class communities, EquipCentral, discipleship and seminars.
