Family Summer 2020

Though it will definitely be different, we're planning for another meaningful summer! No matter the season, we strive to provide opportunities for discipleship, community, and fun for kids of all ages.

Please note that in August, we'll be taking a break from weekly online and in-person programming. We'll use that time for some professional development and to prepare for fall kick-off!

Please note: Safety is our highest priority. For virtual meetings (Zoom), all participants must be registered beforehand. All Zoom meetings will be hosted by a staff member who will utilize/monitor the "waiting room" feature.

We've got one more week! Rising 2nd and 3rd graders have one more meeting on June 29. Rising 4th and 5th graders will meet for the last time on July 1. After this week, all elementary students are encouraged to participate in our virtual VBS, Rocky Railway (more information on this page).

  • Rising 2nd and 3rd graders will meet virtually on Monday afternoons, 3:30-4:30pm.
  • Rising 4th and 5th graders will meet virtually on Wednesday afternoons, 3:30-4:30pm.
  • Ages 3 years - rising 1st graders will also be invited to their own weekly Zoom times for a brief time of discipleship through music and community on Tuesday afternoons, 5pm.

Younger Elementary Registration

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, we're offering gatherings for a time of discipleship and community-building for all middle and high school kids who are comfortable doing so.

To maintain social distancing guidelines, students must register to attend these gatherings. Please feel free to share the registration form, linked below, with friends so they can reserve their spot!

We'll meet at the parking garage at Central Church and remain at least 6 feet apart. Staff will be present to ensure social-distancing and conduct guidelines. Since the meeting will be in open air and the 6-feet rule will be enforced, masks are encouraged, but optional. Matt and Ari (student ministry staff) will lead these groups, and a third adult staff member/volunteer will also be on sight as a safety precaution.

Students should bring their own chair or blanket, a Bible, a pen, and a water bottle.

For our gatherings, we'll be using a small-group, discipleship series from RYM (Reformed Youth Ministries). This reputable series is engaging and encourages personal, at-home Bible study throughout the week.

Below are the times/dates for the end of June through July. Gender groups will meet in separate circles:

Mondays, 1:30-2:45pm: 11-12th girls and 6th boys
Wednesdays, 11-12:15pm: 6th girls and 7-8th boys
Wednesdays, 1:30-2:45pm: 7-8th girls and 9-10th boys
Sundays, 1-2:15pm: 9-10th girls and 11-12th boys
