C-Groups

C-Group LogoThe purpose of C-Groups (Central Groups) is to enjoy fellowship, discuss the day’s sermon, share a light meal and pray. These groups are a place for new and old members to get to know more people in our Central community. They have been an amazing experience for those participating.

Each week Dr. Doriani or the Associate Pastor that is preaching provides a series of questions to be used for discussion. These questions will help you to reflect on the sermon scripture and text. For more information contact Kate O'Connor at .

This Week's C-Group Discussion Questions:

March 14, 2010

"The Inner Struggle"
Romans 7:14-25
Dr. Doriani preaching

Questions:

1. The theme of Romans 7 is struggle; can you identify with Paul’s struggle with sin?

2. Why do we struggle with sin as we do? What does it reveal about our identity? About life in this age? About the life to come?

3. What does this passage teach us about Jesus – his love, his grace and his salvation?

4. According to the message, Romans 7 should push us to seek real community. Do you agree? Are you in relationships with people who know you well enough to see when you are struggling, even if you don’t say it, and to help you?

5. In a way that is appropriate to the situation, share a struggle you may have with sin. This can be your version of the ordinary struggles that many people have. Share wisdom and pray for each other.
