Are you looking for a safe place to ask questions and dialogue with others about the Christian faith?
Do you sometimes struggle embracing, understanding, or practicing supposedly basic Christian beliefs and practices? (Who doesn’t struggle to pray, really?)
Do you long to go deeper in your spiritual life with trusted friends?
Then Discipleship by Design small groups are for you!
Discipleship by Design provides a biblically-based small group discussion experience that has been instrumental in the growth of hundreds of members of Central Presbyterian Church. The journey of discipleship is one that never ends. Discipleship 1 and Discipleship 2 groups help those who are just beginning the journey to prepare for the road ahead. For long-time believers, the groups provide an opportunity to go deeper in the core beliefs and practices of the Christian life.
D1 and D2 are designed to explore foundational issues of faith and life over a twelve week period. Participants do self-study during the week, meeting together to discuss the lesson and ask questions with the help of trained small group facilitators. In D1, we focus on the essential teachings of the Christian faith. D2 focuses on the intersection of our beliefs and practices with the world we live in, equipping the participant to integrate her faith with her life.
