Central Men's Ministry to Launch
Year Three of Men's Fraternity, September 15
"The Great Adventure" begins at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, in Central's Fellowship Hall, with all men invited to participate. This is a great opportunity for members to bring friends, neighbors and relatives to Central's men's activities and Christ's teachings.
Pastor and author Robert Lewis describes this twenty-one session study as every man's adventure with eternity, showing how to replace a possible life-numbing routine of this world with life-giving dreams – and leaving a legacy in your life that blesses others.
This study continues Thursday mornings through February 23, 2012, with appropriate holiday breaks. It features DVD lectures by Pastor Lewis, small group breakout discussions, prayer and a continental breakfast – all before departing the church for your workday at 7:30 a.m.
This study will complete the three-year cycle of Men's Fraternity: Year 1 The Quest for Authentic Manhood, Year 2 Winning at Home and Work, and Year 3 The Great Adventure. While taking the three studies in succession might be ideal for some men, each session stands alone. As we change and grow over time, these studies give us new perspectives and life lessons.
For more information and to enroll, please email Todd Denholm (), Barry Hana () or Kate Spielman (). The registration fee per man is $38. This covers all breakfasts, study materials and commencement for year 3. Please make your checks payable to Central Presbyterian Church, note "Men's Fraternity" in the memo space, and forward your check to Kate's office at the church. In this way we can plan well for the study sessions.

Men's Fellowship Luncheon (MFL)
Every Wednesday at noon men gather in the parlor at Central Presbyterian Church for a simple lunch and a short testimony from a Christian man regarding how Jesus Christ is impacting his life. This is a time for a good $6 lunch, Christian fellowship and an inspiring word from God.
MFL Mission:
- Provide encouragement and support for Christian men through food, fellowship, the Word, sharing and testimony.
- Be a strong evangelistic outreach, providing opportunities to receive Christ and recommit lives to Him.
- Present the truth of the Gospel, share the endeavor of Christian men to live as God would have them live, and manifest the joys received through God's Grace as expressed by the speakers.
