Mosaic is a ministry of Central Presbyterian Church for singles over 40. The name Mosaic means “of Moses.” Like the Israelites that Moses led out of Egypt, we are traveling through a wilderness toward the Promised Land of our Heavenly Father. Although we travel as individuals, our burdens are lightened and our joy is magnified when we are part of a community. The community God wants to build in our lives is best represented by a mosaic — diversely shaped and brightly colored pieces fashioned into a beautiful and priceless work of art.
Worship and Discipleship
Mosaic is not currently meeting on Sunday mornings. Please take this opportunity to attend another class and connect with others in the larger Central community.
Fellowship
Social activities help us to build a community. We are demonstrating the love of Christ as we minister to, pray for, socialize with, and encourage one another. See the right-hand column of this page for details about activities that are planned for the next few months.
Service
Our principal ongoing service project is a ministry to children on the tidal plain of the Saline in Haiti. Often this is the only meal the children receive. We have also obtained medication to treat 500 people for parasites. Some of our members have participated in short-term mission trips to Haiti. We are becoming involved in local service projects as well.
