Organ Plus

Central’s Pipe Organ is full of beautiful sounds when it is played as a solo instrument. For this concert, however, Phil Rowland has invited 4 of Central’s musicians to join him in exploring the organ sounds as it blends with the beauty of instruments. You will hear Chris Sasse, violinist; Catherine Edwards, flautist; Kristen Frost, soprano; and Tag Tuck, saxaphonist as they are play with the organ.
The evening promises to give you the beautiful sounds from these instruments. Ranging from sublime to those which will have you dancing in your seat, come enjoy this concert. It’s free, and a great time for families and all ages.
Christmas Concerts - Lessons and Carols

The Christmas Concerts feature the great carols of Christmas with God’s prophecy, Christ’s birth, and promises of our faith. Central’s choirs, orchestra, bells, and brass will celebrate God’s gift in music throughout the sanctuary. As you hear Scripture read and sung, enjoy a beautiful candlelight processional and join in singing your favorite Christmas carols. The Sunday afternoon concert will be part of Central’s Trio worship service. Don’t miss this beautiful concert as you prepare for the Christmas season, and invite your friends to celebrate the season with you!
The concert is free. An offering will be taken.
Great Hymns of Faith - Hymn Festival

"Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people; praise his holy name" (Psalm 30:4). Central's 2010-2011 Concert Series - Music for Worship and Praise - continues Friday, March 11, with a hymn festival featuring beautiful arrangements of great hymns of the past and present. Our choirs, brass ensemble and other instrumentalists join with a men's quartet and soloists for a time of corporate praise. Best part of the evening? You may request that hymn you've been waiting to sing! Plan to join us in worshipping our Lord.

Add to the Beauty: Music & Readings for Lent

Because we bear the image of God our Creator, we are called to creative endeavors in every area of life. Over the past year and a half, Central's 11:15 service has provided an ideal context for artists to heed that call within the area of music. Musicians and songwriters from within Central's church family are collaborating to compose and arrange music that draws from the best of a variety of styles and sources. We invite you to join us as we offer our gifts for your pleasure and God's glory, striving to add to the beauty that God has first given us.

Central is blessed with some great musicians! Our choir and musicians always sing beautifully, and instrumentalists will add their wonderful talents in each of this year’s concerts. Parking Alert
The city of Clayton will not allow parking on any street surrounding the church on Friday evenings. Please follow the parking signs to the church garage at 700 S. Hanley or at the former Schnuck’s lot at Clayton and Hanley Roads. A shuttle bus will take you to the church.
