Missions at Central

Missions HeartThe Missions and Outreach division of Central Presbyterian Church provides oversight for the spiritual, physical and material support and promotion of all of our evangelical missions. The division is made up of two teams, local/national missions and world or international missions.
"A HEART FOR THE NATIONS" (Locally and Worldwide)
Our main focus is to point people to Christ. To help them see the world with God's eyes and to feel with God's heart. When people do this, they will begin to develop a "Heart for the Nations."

Purpose:
Our purpose is to lead the congregation in fulfilling the "Great Commission" as stated in Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16: 15-20. We are to "go" into all the world and preach the gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ. This is done by exposing men, women and children to a sound, Bible-based and saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through discipleship, church planting and by ministering to the totality of human need in Christian compassion in order to bring glory to God. We are called to be evangelists and to send evangelists to our hometowns, across our nation and around the world. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
