- 9 and 10:45am, 5pm
Are you looking for an opportunity to study Scripture and connect with other men at Central this summer? Bob Denckhoff will lead a men’s Bible study on Wednesday nights from June 7 to July 26, 6:00-7:15 pm, in the Gathering Place. The topic for the summer study will be the book of Hebrews. Bob has been leading men’s Bible discussions for 25 years at his home, in prisons, church and country clubs, and he enjoys leading studies from a working man’s perspective, allowing men to discuss and share insights gathered from their own experiences to apply the Bible in practical ways. Each discussion will stand on its own without any “home work” to prepare outside of the class, and therefore a man can come whenever his schedule allows. Childcare is available with advance registration.
Have you ever wondered, “What was that Feast of the Tabernacle all about," or “What did they do for the Feast of Weeks”? Come join other women for a 6-week study on the feasts of the Bible on Thursday mornings (May 25- June 29) from 9:30am-11am in the Library. You may purchase your own copy (Feasts of the Bible by Dr. Sam Nadler) or have the church order one for you for $10.50.
Are you a single woman or man over 50 who would like to meet and connect with others at Central? This year’s Mosaic summer study offers you a chance to do that. We will study the book One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are by Ann Voskamp. The group will meet in a private room at Miss Sheri's Cafeteria (9967 Manchester Road 63122) from 5:30–7:00 p.m. on Mondays, June 12–July 24. The study includes videos, and the cost of the accompanying study guide is $7.00. Must register by June 5.
