- 9 and 10:45am, 5pm
Start your summer right by participating in one of the many small groups and Bible studies available! Starting in June, there will be opportunities for both men and women to get plugged in. These studies are a wonderful way to not only learn more about God's word but to also meet people, build relationships, and enjoy your church community.
All men are invited to join us on Wednesday nights, June 6-July 25, 6-7:30pm, in the Gathering Place as Bob Denckhoff and Travis Martin lead us through 1 Peter. Each discussion will stand on its own without any homework to prepare outside of class, so you are more than welcome to come whenever your schedule allows. You can learn more here.
Also on Wednesday nights, from 6-7:30pm, Jamie Afshari and Linda Farley will lead a women’s Bible study of 2 Timothy. We will distribute study booklets, $8 each, at the first meeting. Learn more about this study here.
All women are invited to join us on Thursday mornings from June 14–July 26, 9:30-11am, in the Parlor for “God’s Design for Health: Prospering in Body, Mind, and Spirit." Drawing on both scripture and science, this study will address the biblical reasons why God cares deeply about our health and provide some powerful how to tips for our health, learning how best to keep our bodies, minds, and spirits healthy in a fallen world. If Wednesday nights or Thursday mornings don't fit your schedule, there is a Bible study for women on Friday mornings from June 1-29, 9:30-11am, in the Library. We will study Jan Johnson's book Enjoying the Presence of God: Discovering Intimacy with God in the Daily Rhythms of Life. This book offers simple, tangible insights into enjoying continual communion and conversation with God in the midst of all the routines and events of daily life. Get all the details here.
