The challenge of various kinds of mental suffering such as anxiety, depression, boredom, hopelessness, loneliness lead more and more people in the modern world into addictions or suicide and to ask the questions “Why continue to live?” and “How can we live in the midst of great suffering?” Alan Noble responds to these challenges with Christian reasons grounded in the goodness of God and gift of life that comes from him.
