Jobs & Internships

Working at Central Presbyterian Church is rooted in that same fundamental rhythm of the Gospel. We are a team that is increasingly aware of our dependency on Christ, and our inability to minister to God’s people without Him. We study together, pray together, and labor together.

About Central

Originally founded in 1844, Central Presbyterian Church is a testimony to God’s faithfulness. Through periods of great renewal as well as deep struggle, it is truly only by the grace of God that Central continues to flourish as a beacon of the Gospel in the St. Louis region. We are sinful people, redeemed by the finished work of Jesus Christ, being made new by His saving work in us as we wait upon the final restoration of all things. We are committed to the faithful preaching of this fundamental truth, and it is the core of who we are as a church.

As part of that exciting work, we support, encourage, and equip scores of missionaries all across the globe as they labor in their local context to spread the gospel. In order to build on this strong foundation of Missions ministry, we are actively seeking an energetic and collaborative leader to serve as our next Director of Missions.

Missions at Central has a strong foundation that has been developed over many decades, and the new Director will seek to build on that foundation. The ideal candidate will have a genuine and magnetic relationship with Jesus Christ that naturally inspires and attracts people to engage. They will be a highly organized leader with the ability to build intentional systems and networks that further connect Central members with the sacrificial missions of our church. PEEPs Teachers

Central Presbyterian's early childhood education program, PEEPs, is presently seeking substitutes and teachers to join our staff family - a group of women praying for one another, celebrating together, and serving the Lord alongside each other. From 8:20-2:15 on M, W, and F, we train kids to love God and each other. Embedded in recess and the alphabet are stories of God’s love and provision. PEEPs is much more than a preschool, it is a safe place for kids and staff alike to experience the great love of Christ. PEEPs teachers' children attend PEEPs for free and receive a discount at CCS. Please contact Christine Vandervoort with any questions or click here to apply. To learn more about PEEPs, please visit our web page.

We are currently in need of:

  • Full time (M, W, F  8:15 - 2:15) teachers and substitutes for our summer and school year programs.
