But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said."
– Matthew 28:5-6 ESV
Worship with us on Easter Sunday at 7am at the World's Fair Pavilion in Forest Park, or at 9am and 11am in-person on campus or online (centralpres.com/live).
In our Easter sermon series, Life Triumphant, we journey through the heart of Holy Week in the Gospel of John, from Christ’s entry into Jerusalem to His sacrificial death and victorious resurrection. We see a Savior who triumphs not through force, but through humble service, the laying down of His life for the world. And we encounter a love that enters our joy, our fear, and our grief, and a hope that refuses to be overcome by suffering or death. From the cross to the empty tomb, we proclaim the good news that sin is forgiven, death is defeated, and new life is found in the risen Christ.
Please note: Our nursery will be available for ages 8 weeks through 3 years during the service. Please contact Kim Burzinski to volunteer in the nursery. There will be no Children's Worship on Easter morning.
