Belong to the Mission

Whether around the world or just down the block, we are all called to be part of God's mission. Our service is one key avenue through which we may experience the transformative work of Christ in our lives as well as be agents for this transformation in our communities and the world.

Saturday, October 2

Saturday of Missions Weekend '21 is focused on local outreach and ways you and your family can make a difference in St. Louis community. Central is hosting a "ministry fair" on the lower level of our garage with 14 different local organizations currently doing work right here in our neighborhoods, and all have opportunities for you to get involved. Saturday will also feature international cuisine prepared by local chefs!

Drop by for a few minutes or the whole afternoon, (11am and 2pm) enjoy a delicious lunch, and find ways to get involved.

Sunday, October 3

While every Sunday is "missions Sunday" at Central, October 3 will be a little extra special as we celebrate the incredible, transformative work God has done and continues to do around the world. 

Throughout the morning, in both worship and during the Sunday school hour, you will hear incredible testimonies from those currently serving in missions from around the world, and we are thrilled to welcome several of our missionary friends for in-person visits! Following the second worship service, stick around for the free missions lunch (more details TBA) as you will get to hear even more of what the Lord is doing in and through missions at Central. Highlights will include the unveiling of the new missionary adoption program as well as an update on the Mayfield Scholarship, designed to help support and fund those who have a calling to become missionaries in their home countries.
