Advent Sermon Series begins on Sunday, Nov. 30

Advent reminds us that waiting isn’t wasted; it’s where Jesus meets us with grace, hope, and peace.

Advent invites us to wait—not with anxiety or distraction, but with hope. In this season, we’ll learn to wait with Jesus: trusting God’s timing, resting in His promises, and finding grace and peace in the spaces between. Together, we’ll discover how waiting becomes a way of walking with Him.

Join us for Christmas Fest!

Food, fun, and festivities on Wednesday, December 3, starting at 4:30pm

  • 4:30pm | Deck the Halls
Kick off the Christmas season by decking our halls with greenery and decor. The decorations make our church building a festive place to celebrate the birth of our Lord.
  • 5 - 6:30pm | Advent Experience
Experience the feel, sights, smells, and sounds of the Nativity animals found in the stable at Jesus' birth, at our outdoor Nativity petting zoo. Sit down inside and participate as a family in hands-on activities, including several crafts for all ages, and lifting our voices together in Christmas worship. All activities take place inside and outside of the Student Center from 5-6:30 pm. Choose your time slot below to engage with the Nativity animals, then plan the rest of your Christmas Fest evening: Register here.
  • 5:30pm | Dinner
Take a break and enjoy a free community dinner with our church family until 6:45pm.
  • 7:00pm | Tree Lighting
Move outside for caroling, hot drinks, Christmas cookies, and tree lighting, and Christmas music!

Everyone is welcome, so bring the whole family and some friends too—the more, the merrier!

Christmas Concert on Friday, Dec. 12, at 7:30pm

“Light and life to all he brings, risen with healing in his wings.
Hark! The herald angels sing, Glory to the newborn King.”

All are invited to our annual Christmas Concert, where carols of joy will be interwoven with timeless Christmas favorites, including Vaughan Williams’ dramatic Fantasia on Christmas Carols and Randol Allen Bass’ exuberant Gloria. Central’s choirs, orchestra, bells, and brass will give us a glimpse of the light that has dawned, bringing us hope in this Christmas season.

OUR CHRISTMAS CONCERT IS FREE TO ATTEND AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC—SEATING IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.

Christmas Eve Services on Wednesday, Dec. 24

Prepare your hearts for the joy and wonder of Christmas!

We know the holidays can be a busy time, so all of our services will be available in-person and online. We look forward to worshiping with you and your family this Christmas.

Christmas Angel Mission

The children of prison inmates, ex-offenders, and people struggling with addiction often miss not only a parent at Christmas, but also Christmas gifts. The Christmas Angel Mission ministers to these children by hosting Christmas parties and providing gifts for the children. Mission Gate could not operate this special ministry for children without volunteers from churches, businesses, and individual families.

HOLIDAY COLLECTION:
Wrap Gifts with age and sex specific tags are provided.

Poinsettia Orders

Celebrate the season by purchasing poinsettias for the Sanctuary this Christmas!

Your gifts help offset our costs, allow you to publicly honor friends and loved ones, and after Christmas you can take your poinsettias home to deck your halls well into the New Year. A tradition here at Central, this is a wonderful way to bless our church and others! Poinsettias go on sale 11/16.
